MD Biosciences Neuro is a preclinical and translational contract research organization (CRO) offering services for drug development in the rapidly growing field of neurodegeneration and pain. As a focused and specialized CRO, we provide valuable insights that address challenges faced by the drug development community. Our scientists are leading experts in the field and bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical translatability by continuously publishing new data and developing methods to support the advancement of novel therapeutics.

This position is on the business development team located in Cambridge, MA. You will collaborate closely with other members of the business development team, as well as the scientific team. The objective of this role is to support the growth of the business, identify new leads and opportunities, and manage daily marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new client leads with the objective of hitting and increasing revenue targets.
• Direct outreach with prospective clients and initiate discussions.  
• Work cross-functionally across scientific and business development teams.
• Lead marketing initiatives and manage marketing calendar.
• Update website routinely to reflect new developments.
• Conduct marketing reporting and analysis.
• Produce new material based on scientific research and advancements.

Requirements/Skills:

• Experience with business development, marketing, and sales efforts.
• Capability to produce content and manage social media platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Excellent writing, presenting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task.
• Skill in connecting with internal and external leadership.
• Degree in biology or related field.
• Marketing background.
• Pharma/biotech industry background is a plus.
