Spinal Cord Injury
Spinal cord injury (SCI) often results in sensory problems, severe motor dysfunction and chronic pain. Several preclinical models are commonly used to evaluate pain and motor dysfunction mechanisms associated with SCI. The spinal cord injury is created by contusion, cutting or extractions.
